About Becca

Becca was 20 when she passed in 2003. Her life was a stretch of pavement and city lights, spent traveling up and down Interstate 5, searching for connection. From Seattle to Los Angeles, she moved unnoticed, until her final night beneath a bridge in Sacramento.

She wasn’t trying to disappear. She was trying to be seen.

Becca’s voice lives on in The Scrolls of Souls, a memorial project that preserves the stories of those history forgot. Each scroll contains the presence of one soul. Each video is their voice, their final message to the living.

If you feel a connection to Becca, you can become her caretaker.

About The Scrolls of Souls

Some souls were never meant to be lost. Their names faded from memory. Their stories disappeared. Their voices were silenced by time. Now they'll be heard.

The Scrolls of Souls is a memorial project created to honor and preserve the spirits of forgotten people. These are individuals who died alone or were never identified. Each scroll contains the voice of one soul. Their story. Their request to be remembered. Their hope that someone still cares.

These aren't fictional characters. These are sealed spirits. Each one is bound to parchment by ink, preserved in scrolls, and waiting for someone to become their caretaker.

Some passed recently. Others died more than a century ago. All were overlooked. None of them want to disappear again.

Who Was Mr. Smoe

Before this project began, I was contacted by a man named "Mr. Smoe." He said he had experienced spiritual encounters and wanted to tell his story on a podcast. He passed away before we could record it.

After his death, I was invited to collect what remained of his belongings. In the attic, I found sealed boxes filled with scrolls.

Each scroll was carefully bound. The parchment felt unnaturally smooth. The ink was unlike anything I had seen.

As I unrolled one, I heard a voice. Not with my ears but inside me. It was clear. It was personal. It was human. I hadn't discovered writing. I'd discovered presence.

These spirits were never meant to return. They were boxed away in the dark. Silence. Forgotten.

But silence isn't what they wanted. They want to be seen. They want to be heard. They want to matter again.

Becoming a Caretaker

To adopt a scroll is to care for a soul. You aren’t receiving a product, you’re preserving a presence. Each scroll carries a name, a voice, and a story once forgotten. Now, through your care, that spirit will be remembered.

Some caretakers feel a presence, a shift in the air, a whisper, a moment of peace. Others find meaning in reading the scroll aloud and speaking the name of the spirit they now protect. However it unfolds, one thing remains the same: the soul is no longer alone.

This Isn't About Ghost Stories

The Scrolls of Souls isn't about fear. It isn't about collecting haunted relics or telling scary stories. This is about remembrance. Dignity. And the belief that no life should be forgotten.

Each scroll is a body. Each line of ink is a voice. Every caretaker plays a part in making sure that voice isn't erased again.

Watch the video. Listen to the spirit's voice.

If the spirit speaks to you, adopt the scroll.

Become a caretaker.

Let the spirit matter.

Arthur Mills

Arthur Mills' career is defined by his relentless pursuit of truth, from a distinguished twenty-one-year career as an Intelligence Warrant Officer to private investigation focused on missing persons and human trafficking. However, his most significant case emerged from his own past when, as a child, he unwittingly summoned an entity he named Candle Face due to her charred features, believing he had banished her back to hell. Returning to Texas decades later, Arthur discovered Candle Face’s evil had never ceased. Now, combining his intelligence and investigative expertise with his experiences confronting Candle Face, Arthur documents his findings in the Candle Face Chronicles, determined to expose her story and protect others from her evil.

What exactly is a scroll?

Each scroll contains the spirit of a forgotten soul—printed on parchment, sealed in ink, and waiting to be acknowledged. It’s not just a piece of paper. It’s a presence.

Are these spirits dangerous?

No. These aren't haunted objects. The spirits within the scrolls are peaceful and only want one thing: to be remembered.

What does it mean to be a caretaker?

It means you’ve agreed to see, hear, and honor the spirit in your scroll. You don’t need to do anything supernatural. Just acknowledge them, speak their name, and make space for their story.

Can I adopt more than one spirit?

Yes. Some caretakers have chosen to care for more than one spirit. Each scroll is unique, and each spirit has their own voice, presence, and need.

Will I feel or experience anything after receiving a scroll?

Some caretakers say they feel warmth, calm, or a gentle presence. Others feel nothing unusual, just the quiet knowing that they’ve done something good. There’s no wrong way to experience a spirit’s presence.

Is the $29.99 a purchase or a donation?

Neither. It’s an adoption fee that helps cover materials, video creation, and preservation. I don’t profit from these spirits’ pain. Your fee makes it possible to get their stories safely into the world.

Why is there a $29.99 adoption fee?

The fee helps cover my costs, which are quite extensive.

Each scroll comes from a real collection, discovered in Mr. Smoe’s attic. Every scroll is unique and includes the spirit’s story, a Caretaker’s Oath, a QR code for authenticity, and many comes with a video.

You’re not buying a product. You’re stepping into a story and becoming a caretaker for someone who was once forgotten.

How many scrolls exist?

There are 3,458 scrolls, each one sealed in parchment and containing the presence of a different soul.

They were recovered from 13 storage boxes found in Mr. Smoe’s attic.

Every scroll is unique and numbered. Once adopted, it’s never duplicated.

Each spirit is entrusted to a single home, team, or caretaker, someone who will honor their voice and keep their memory alive.

Is it normal to feel emotional or connected to a scroll?

That’s okay. It’s normal to feel a strong emotional reaction, especially when caring for something that was once forgotten. You’re not alone. You can reach out to me or connect with others who’ve become caretakers.

Can more than one person care for a scroll?

Absolutely. Whether you’re a couple, a household, or a paranormal team, caretaking can be shared.

Just remember, you're not caring for the scroll itself. You're caring for the spirit within it. What matters most is that the soul is treated with compassion, presence, and respect.

Can I choose the spirit I receive?

Yes. Every scroll is listed individually, with a short description of the soul sealed inside. You can browse the collection, connect with a story that speaks to you, and choose the spirit you’d like to care for.

However, not all 3,458 scrolls are listed at once. I'll release only 30 at a time because each one takes time to describe for the website and number for authenticity.

Once a scroll is adopted, it’s removed from the collection and will never be available again. No duplicates. No copies. Just one chance to carry that voice forward.

If none of the current spirits feel like the one meant for you, check back soon, new ones are added regularly.

Do all scrolls come with a video? What are the videos, and how are they made?

Not all scrolls currently have a video, but many do, and more are being created as quickly as possible. Each video is handcrafted to reflect the voice and the story of the spirit sealed within the scroll. These videos aren't generic trailers or marketing pieces. They're individual memorials, created one at a time.

Each video is made by me, using the spirit’s own words from their scroll. I carefully select each image and scene to match the emotion and setting described in the story. The narration is generated using an artificial voice (AI generated), but every other part of the video is made by me, based on what the spirit has revealed.

These videos are meant to help the spirit be seen and heard. They're created with care, and they take considerable time and resources to produce. That’s why not every scroll has a video yet. But my goal is to give as many spirits as possible a voice in both ink and sound.

Each video is as unique as the scroll it represents. No copies. No templates. Just one soul, one story, one chance to be remembered.

What if I can’t care for my scroll anymore?

If your circumstances change, please don’t throw it away or tuck it into storage. These scrolls hold real presence, and real memory.

If possible, try to find someone you trust who’s willing to continue the care. If you’re unable to, reach out to me directly. I’ll help find a new caretaker for the spirit.

These souls deserve to be treated with dignity. They’ve been forgotten once. Let’s not let it happen again.
